Thom, cashier; and C. H. Brown, assistant cashier. The directors are S. A. Wight, J. E. Harding, J. F. Robinson, W. P. Rion, C. G. Burton, Theo. Lacaff, J. B. Robinson, J. M. Yater and Chas. Thom. The broad, liberal policy pursued by the management of this institution, its readiness at all times to meet all legitimate requirements of its numerous clients and patrons, its steady and progressive manner of enlarging its sphere of usefulness have combined to give it a leading place among financial institutions of the city.       Metropolitan and up-to-date methods, good goods and low prices are the distinctive features of the sterling bakery house of Fred Dilgert at 606 East Cherry Street. This business was established under the present management in 1896. The business conducted is both wholesale and retail, bakery products of a very fine grade are shipped daily to all the surrounding towns as well as being sold in almost every provision house in this city. constant employment. Bakery goods of every description are manufactured, including pies, cakes, bread, etc. A specialty is made of furnishing fancy cakes and other pastries for weddings and parties on short notice. Ice cream and ices of all kinds are manufactured and sold at both wholesale and retail. This plant is thoroughly equipped with the latest machinery and appliances for carefully manufacturing these goods amid clean and sanitary surroundings. The interior arrangement of the retail display room is thoroughly up to the standard possessed by the most particular and would do credit to any metropolis. They also carry a large line of imported and domestic cigars and smokers' articles. Mr. Fred Dilgert was born in Atchison, Kansas, in 1871 and there educated. He is a valued member of the M. W.
