BANK OF NEVADA.

The financial standing of our city is largely due to the strong banking institutions which it possesses, and none of these strong towers of finance have done more to aid in advancing this great and enviable financial position than the Bank of Nevada. This bank was established in 1890. It has a capital stock of $50,000, but owing to the reorganization which will take place in a few weeks the capital stock will be increased to $100,000. The surplus and undivided profits are $12,000, and deposits amounting to $232,000. This bank has purchased the building at the northeast corner of Cedar and Cherry Streets. This building will be remodeled, both on the interior and exterior and will be one of the finest banking buildings in this city. The location is more central to the business and resident portions of the city than any other bank. The most handsome banking fixtures and furniture to be obtained have been ordered. All the latest in burglar and fire-proof valuts and safes will be installed, and every protection will be taken for the safety of the funds entrusted to their care. This
bank will occupy this building within the next sixty to ninety days. This bank has shown a more decided increase in patronage and popularity than any similar institution in the city since it was established. This is exemplified by the purchasing of this building, the increase in capital stock to double the amount at the time it was organized, and the demand for extra experienced bookkeepers and clerks to take care of the business. The officers of this bank are W. E. Clark, president; G. G. Ewing, vice-president; C. A. Emerson, cashier, and the directors are J. H. Rinehart, W. J. Wainscott, W. M. Bowker, Q. T. Moore, O. H. Hoss, and Dr. D. W. Howard. The public who entrust their money to a bank should know something of its financial standing, the above statement speaks for itself. On its strength they respectfully solicit your patronage. The officers of this bank are business men of sterling worth and the highest standing, whose conservative years of practical business methods assure the continued success of the institution with which they are connected.
