D. E. FLUKE.

      Ever since the day of its inception, twenty-five years ago, the name of this company has stood for those commercial principles which are necessary for commercial success-absolute integrity of purpose, fair dealings and generous treatment both towards the trade whose confidence was sought and all those in its employ. They execute all kinds of plumbing work, installing heating plants, lighting equipment and do repair work. They carry a large line of heating apparatus, laboratory supplies, gas, electric and combination fixtures, brass goods, hydrants, wrought iron pipes, hose, pumps, etc. A specialty is made of the "Ideal" boilers for hot water or steam heat. From four to ten especially trained and skilled mechanics are constantly employed. The plumbing work at the Nevada government building as well as the Vernon County court house was installed by Mr. Fluke. All work is under the direct supervision of Mr. Fluke, who is a practical and thorough plumber in every sense of the word, therefore all

hours. This place is open day and night and caters to the trade with wholesome and clean eatables. Mr. Andy Sexton was born in Pennsylvania. He has been located in Nevada for the last twenty-four years.


ECLIPSE BARN.

      This livery barn was established in 1891. It has been conducted along lines that insure a steady increase in both

professional men of this city board their horses at this barn, the greatest care being taken with each animal and owing to the experience of the proprietor the proper kind and amount of feed is given to each boarder. The main entrance of this barn is at 228 East Walnut Street. Mr. W. S. Creel, the proprietor, was born in Missouri in 1849. He is a valued member of the Christian church and highly esteemed by all who know him.


BEN HANKINSON.

      One of the neatly arranged fruit and provision stores of this city is that located on West Cherry Street, directly opposite the new post office building. This business was recently opened to the public, being established in November of 1909. The goods handled comprise a complete line of imported and domestic cigars, canned goods, confectionery, fruit and produce. A specialty is made of handling the most complete line of California and imported fruit to be found in the city. Mr. Ben Hankinson was born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada, in 1879. He received his education in that country. He is a valued member of the M. W. A. Mrs. Hankinson personally supervises the business at this store and it has been through her careful treatment of the trade, always giving good values, and her pleasing manner, to which this unusual success in so short a time has been attributed.

Fluke was born in Rock Island, Illinois, his parents moving to Nevada when he was quite young; therefore he received his education here. He is a valued member of the I. O. O. F., K. of P., Elks, M. W. A., and W. O. W.


O. K. LUNCH ROOM.

      Among the diversified industries of Nevada none is more interesting than that carried on by Mr. Andy Sexton, the proprietor of the O. K. Lunch Room located on East Cherry Street. This business became established in 1890 and has been under this management for the past month only, but during that time a reputation has been built up for efficiency of service and excellent cooking at moderate prices. Regular meals are served with short orders at all

patronage and popularity. The barn occupies a well appointed structure 140x160 feet, two stories in height and is equipped with box, and padded stalls, wash room, repository and all else which goes to make a complete establishment. They also have an annex on Washington Street, 40x80 feet which is used mostly for storage purposes. The finest single and double rigs and turnouts to be found in this city are always on hand at this place. A large number of business and
