Success which follows enterprise and merit is ably presented in the history of the Nevada Brokerage Company. This firm began business in Nevada in 1910 and owing to their honorable treatment of the trade, handling the best goods, quoting moderate prices, they have gained a reputation second to none and enjoy a large trade. A large line of queensware, staple and fancy groceries, fruit and produce, cigars and confectionery are handled. The store is neatly arranged and always kept in a clean condition with only the best products on hand which the market affords. This company is composed of B. F. Moss and E. J. Schreckengost. Mr. Moss was born and raised in Missouri. He has been engaged in mercantile pursuits for the past thirty years. He is also sole proprietor and in direct supervision of the Moss Grocery located at 603 East Cherry Street. This store handles exclusively imported and domestic, staple and fancy groceries. The best brands of flour, feed and mill stuffs. Mr. E. J. Schreckengost was born in Illinois. He has followed the provision business for a long term of years. This firm was established in 1905 and is located at 219 West Cherry Street.
A fine line of flour, feed, hay, grain, seed, poultry and stock food and
condition powders are carried. Mr. L. P. Dauphine was born in France in
1858. He received his education in this state and is a member of the K.
of P., M. W. A., Ben Hur and Yoemen. Mr. E. C. Dauphine was born in France
in 1856, receiving his education also in Missouri. He is a member of the
M. W. A. and W. O. W. Previous to establishing this business these gentlemen
were engaged in railroad work. |
