Nevada Souvenir

Clockwise from top left: Missouri (Zoula) McIlhany Cockerill,
Almond Boswell Cockerill, Missouri Robinson, Henry Clay Cockerill

My Great Grandmother, Zoula Cockerill, left a chest full of treasures for my family. One of these treasures was the Nevada Souvenir. The Nevada Souvenir is a booklet published around 1910 (this is a guess since there was no actual date given). It seems that the intent of the booklet was to attract businesses and people to settle in Nevada, Missouri. The forty page booklet contains pictures of people and businesses and gives a brief description of about 100 businesses and mentions 200 different people.

I hope you enjoy this booklet as much as I have. If you have any questions, or would like scanned images of any or all of the pages please feel free to contact me! Also, feel free to copy and redistribute (for free please!) any or all parts of this document.
